Personal Care, Attendant Care Services

Personal Care services offer assistance to clients, who have experienced a loss in their ability to perform the activities of daily living, to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment. Activities of Daily Living Activities of daily living refers to activities, including bathing, dressing, transferring, using the toilet, eating, and walking, which reflect clients’ capacity for self-care.

Personal Care services include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assistance with Bathing / Personal Hygiene
• Bathroom Assistance
• Dressing and Undressing
• Night Needs
• Assistance with Feeding / Eating
• Hair Care

Homemaker services offer direct and practical assistance with household tasks and related activities. Homemaker services assist the client who has experienced a loss in the ability to perform the instrumental activities in daily living to remain in a safe, clean and healthy home environment.

Homemaker services include, but are not limited to, the following: conducting routine housekeeping activities such as:

• Basic / Light Housework
• Bed changing / Linens
• Laundry
• Meal Preparation
• Shopping
• Vacuuming / Trash Removal
